Admirals (players) are given the ability to build up to 8 fleets, clear new maps not seen in the flash version, pet their loved ship girls (kanmusu), declare war on Akagi's bauxite eating habits and more. If you saw it in the flash version, it's here in the vita. Welcome to the Kancolle Kai Wiki, a wiki that focuses on documenting the Sony® PlayStation Vita™ port of the Kantai Collection flash game, Kantai Collection Kai (or KanColle Kai, KC Kai, KC Vita for short). The game is a single-player only adaptation developed by Kadokawa Game Studio/Kancolle Unei Chinjufu (C2 Kikan) and distributed by Kadokawa Games Incorporated which falls into the strategic simulation category. It also uses a PlayStation Vita version of Unity3D.

Admirals (players) are given the ability to build up to 8 fleets, clear new maps not seen in the flash version, pet their loved ship girls (kanmusu), declare war on Akagi's bauxite eating habits and more. If you saw it in the flash version, it's here in the vita. While the port shares much of the same mechanics as the original flash game, there are some major differences that will throw even the most hardcore admirals for a loop when playing it compared to the flash version up to a certain point where the development team took the game off life support. The current version at the time of writing is Version 1.02.

Unfortunately, the game was discontinued in January 2017. If you have a Henkaku-compatible PlayStation Vita™ that is on firmware 3.60, you will still be able to obtain a translated digital copy through various methods. You may still be able to buy the physical copy of the game, but please note that you will not be able to translate the game with the translation files provided by the KC Kai Translation Team.

We also started this wiki because Wikia Fandom sucks and the structure of the KanColle English Wiki is questionable at best. This wiki aims to be the antidote to those complaints. We'll try to keep the memes to the minimum and make sure we don't have any fake information, but if you see something not quite right please don't hesitate to flag it for investigation. Note that while the wiki is for approved editors only to protect it against spam, being a complete dick and messing around with pages for no good reason will earn yourself a ban for your efforts. We have a zero-tolerance for people who want to waste our time. If you are willing to put time into the wiki, can speak and type quality English, please poke Coburn on the KC Kai Translation Discord to get some user rights assigned to you.
