KanColle Arcade Overview
KanColle Arcade is a full 3D adaptation of the KanColle Browser Flash game. Unlike how the browser version is free to play with optional payments, the arcade system requires real-world tokens (in denomination of ¥100 coins) to be inserted into the machine in order to play.
The arcade machine uses a SEGA Amie Card to save your profile between arcade visits allowing you to resume your game the next time you want to play KC Arcade. Guest mode is available and while you get to keep any physical character art cards that the machine spits out, your profile is deleted from the machine when you run out of GP.

Game Updates
According to the KanColle wikia, the arcade units are updated every month with new ship girls and/or features. Official Arcade Version Website also has a box that details various events and possible update information.
Starting up
Next to the arcade cabinet should be a card dispenser.
You will have to register before obtaining a card. The registration process is identical to that of the browser game - choosing an admiral name and picking a starter destroyer from the selection provided:
Once this is done, the Amie Card and the starter Kanmusu card will be dispensed. Then you'll be sent to the naval base.
What's GP and how is it used?
- Inserting physical tokens give you 300GP per token which is equivalent to five minutes of game time.
- Some machines may be limited to a set amount of GP to prevent admirals hogging the unit for too long.
- GP is consumed every second of usage, however as shown below there are some exceptions.
- A warning sound will play at 30GP or lower.
- It can be replenished by tapping a button on the menu bar (top right of the screen) as long as there has been extra tokens inserted.
- Carrying out some actions consumes extra GP such as starting in a sortie. Some other actions cause the GP depletion to slow down or stop completely, for example, rearranging fleet cards, etc.
Arcade Unit appearance
See the Physical Unit photos page or the thumbnail to the right.
- Ise and Hyuuga are the main feature characters present on both the machine itself as well as the promotional artwork.
- There's a large card slot on the left where you place your fleet girls for battle.
- On the machine, the ship's wheel located in the center allows steering of the fleet girl, a button "Issue Order" located slight to the lower right of the ship's wheel, fires cannons/missiles that the fleet girl may carry and an engine order telegraph located on the right side which controls the speed of the fleet girl.
- There is a touch screen interface allowing you do
lewdthings with your secretary. Tapping them usually will make them speak and move around. - There's a card slot on the right where your fleet girls are spat out.
- All units have a NFC reader located above the screen to tap your Aime card. This restores your account for future play.
- Some units have an another NFC reader above the screen. These are only available for machines located in Taito Stations around Japan and accepts cashless payments instead of ¥100 coins. Usable cards includes Suica, Pasmo, ICOCA or Japan-issued credit cards.
Cards appearance
TODO: Continue this section, upload scans of the physical cards as example.
- Some stores do sell the arcade cards for real-world yen. Some rare cards can go up to almost 5000 Yen! I have seen as much as ¥10000.
- For pricing information, refer to http://yuyu-tei.jp/game_kan/sell/sell_price.php?ver=1.0&type=%E9%80%9A%E5%B8%B8ALL and http://yuyu-tei.jp/game_kan/sell/sell_price.php?ver=1.0&type=%E6%94%B9ALL.
- Scanning the physical kanmusu card will add them back into your fleet if you take them out or lose them.
Gameplay
Tutorial
The game will start you off with a tutorial, much like the browser and the Vita versions of KanColle. Complete the tutorial which details construction, resupplying and other activities and then you are free to start playing.
TODO.
Construction
Construction is similar to the browser and vita versions, however on every constructed Kanmusu your Admiral avatar will walk out of the office, down the hallway and into the construction area where the newly built girl will reveal herself. However, each construction will cost you ¥100.
Building kanmusu still requires development materials which are gathered on sortie.
Note that if you tap the other shipgirls in the hallway they will do various things and some shipgirls that appear may not even be in your fleet (confirmation needed).
Battle

Screenshots
See the the Screenshots page. Note that some of these were archived from the official SEGA website.
Is it possible to get a Game Over in the arcade version?
TODO: Correct this section.
Unknown but there would be a Game Over in some form if you run out of time as could even be a "Thanks for playing" screen.
