An example admiral room, with Abukuma as the flagship secretary.

The Admiral's Room, also known in game as the "Flagship Admiral Room" is a room in each fleet that allows customization. It is intended to provide the player a feel that they are in-game at the naval base.

As seen in the screenshot to the right, a Live2D rendered version of your fleet's flagship will appear to accompany you, however when she is showing her damaged artwork, the Live2D model will not be present and the damaged art animation will be much the same as the "breathing" animation of the flash version (in which the art expands and shrinks to give the breathing effect). Note that Live2D is not the same as 3D models as seen in the KC Arcade adaptation.

Tapping the top-left orb will disable the UI, allowing you to take screenshots with your secretary. Pressing the middle menu option, "Operations" will take you back to the World Map. The right shoulder console button acts as the "bail out" button as well. The left shoulder button changes the options displayed and is used to toggle between blue and orange menus.

Affection

Tapping your secretary may cause her to emit one of three status effects:

  • A pink set of hearts
  • Nothing, in which she will just say a line from her normal lines
  • A blue set of hearts

A pink set of hearts indicate that her affection towards the admiral has increased, while a blue set means it decreased, which can happen if you annoy the flagship by tapping too many times. Try tapping different parts of the character to get easy affection increases. If no hearts appear, then it's likely just the character feels neutral towards the admiral.

It is unknown what exactly the affection affects, but it can lead to in-battle boosts where the character does better than normal. 3 pink hearts seems to be the cap per turn and you get a neutral 4th click before she starts emitting blue hearts.

Furniture

The furniture revamp mode

On the menu wheel that appears normally, if you press L to access the orange menu, you will find an option to access the Furniture section of the admiral mode. In this mode, you will be able to revamp your flagship room. The areas you can revamp are much the same like the flash version, divided into multiple sections as shown below:

  • Side wall decoration
  • Chair and Desk
  • Floor
  • Feature Furniture (back wall)
  • Wallpaper
  • Window and Curtain
Furniture Shop

Accessing the furniture store is done by tapping the "Furniture Shop" option in which the game will load the Furniture Shop... as the option suggests. Furniture is purchased by spending Furniture Coins, which can be obtained through Quests, Expeditions or other means. Purchases are unlocked immediately - no credit card required.

Preview Mode

A preview of a customized room

When selecting a furniture item, a button will be present on the menu that allows you to preview your changes before actually committing them. This is useful if you're trying to make the best room possible for your kanmusu, or if you're on the cheap and saving your coins. Tapping anywhere on the screen in preview mode will resume normal operation and bring back the menu.
