Below are some interesting plugins that have been confirmed to work with the digital dumped copy of Kantai Collection Kai. Said plugins use Taihen, a subsystem of Henkaku allowing you access to things that you normally couldn't gain access to.

Before using these plugins

You understand that using plugins from various authors could make your Vita unstable, crash and burn or format your memory card. Make sure you read the manual first and any documentation such as the README file. Always keep a backup of your Vita and saved game data (Vita Save Manager is a recommended app for backing up your existing save data). It's your devices funeral if you fail to follow instructions to the letter and something bricks your Vita.

RGame

Author: dots-tb

Status: Stable

Tested: Yes

Git Repo: None

RGame by dtb is a simple reboot plugin for Taihen that will reboot the game upon a certain key combination (hard coded for now, which is L + R + Start). It also acts as a cure for the infamous Henkaku bug that occurs when applications are left idle for too long when the Vita is in sleep mode. In addition, it saves time using a key combination rather than having to minimize the game, pull the Livearea Sheet down, tapping the bubble again, then launching the game by tapping "Start".

Also helps restore your faith in the RNG routines.

ShipLog

Author: dots-tb

Status: Experimental

Tested: Partially

Git Repo: https://github.com/dots-tb/ShipLog

ShipLog by dtb is a kernel and user mode plugin that allows you to capture debug output from the game and/or the entire Vita OS. It's currently in heavy development and doesn't capture the debug output calls from Mono (Unity's scripting runtime).

OClockVita

Author: frangarcj

Status: Stable

Tested: Yes

Git Repo: https://github.com/frangarcj/oclockvita

OClockVita allows you to overclock your phat or slim Vita as well as the PlayStation TV. It allows one to select 4 different presets for CPU, GPU, XBAR and BUS clocks. The Maximum Performance profile does speed up KC Kai quite a fair bit.
